These photos were taken on the Sunday before Pastor Lamine died a sudden death due to a severe case of Malaria. It is interesting and quite special that this photo of him, Saying Good-by, was the last photo taken of him, merely 4-5 days before he died. He was not even sick at the time of the photo and of course had no idea that this would be the last photo of him. It is a blessing that this photo and the below family photo and another of him standing in front of the church, were taken so close to his death. I pray that they would serve as a source of comfort to the family.
