Our Mission to Support Pastors
We are a catalyst for national pastors, to facilitate their ministries so they can reach the most people possible for Jesus Christ.
We are committed to supporting, equipping, and training pastors and evangelists in third-world countries for the work of ministry. Our prayer is that by providing this assistance to those who have dedicated their lives to the service of Jesus Christ, they will be able to faithfully and accurately present His Word to all who will hear.
For over 40 years Praise International has been partnering with local churches across the globe.
We believe the best way to fulfill the great commission is by coming alongside local leaders who serve the Lord in their own countries. They already:
- Speak the language
- Understand the culture
- Have a deep love for their own people
This makes it possible for them to plant churches up to ten times faster than a traditional missionary.
One way we do this is by finding Christians who are willing to sponsor a national pastor. These pastors are isolated in jungles and in the backcountry. Most of them have little to no salary. We currently sponsor over 150 pastors on 3 different continents.
We also fund special projects for indigenous pastors. It may be digging a well in Mali, purchasing a motorcycle in Ivory Coast, a bike for Cuban pastors, or buying a cow or a goat to help a pastor provide for his family. Whatever the needs of our pastors might be, our generous ministry partners rise to the occasion. We sometimes even help a church planter to build his first church.
Would you consider becoming a sponsor or giving a special gift at this time?
Thank you and may God pour His Grace upon you.
